The Little Report Thistle climbed to within a point of Celtic with this win. Much of the credit went to Ewing - “a sprightly and intelligent winger” (GH). Smith shot Thistle into the lead (3) with a right-foot shot then Ewing scored with a magnificent header (39). Celtic scored a fine goal (41) but Hogan's goal (80) confirmed the win.
