The Little Report A slick header (1) set the scene in this match. Thistle were never in it and it was 3-0 at h-t. But for some fine goalkeeping by Smith and wayward shooting, it could have been worse. Ewing missed an easy chance in the 2nd half. Perhaps Thistle had the League Cup S-F on their minds. Very poor. 3rd bottom.
