The Little Report Bottom club Albion, favourites to be relegated, had no answer to Thistle's devastating attacks. Mathers gave them the lead but Albion were stubborn and had a goal (wrongly) disallowed. The 2nd half was all Thistle. Ewing (51), Sharp (52), Wright and Sharp (twice) made it 6-0 before a late goal for the visitors (88).
