EASY FOR THISTLE. Thistle’s all-round superiority in the second half gave them an easy win over Peterhead last night. The Highland Leaguers did well to hold the Jags to a goalless draw in the first half, but when Thistle turned on the heat in the second session the home defence was overrun. Four minutes after the resumption Thistle went ahead when McCreadie scored. Six minutes later the Jags increased their lead with a close range effort by inside-left Mathers. McCreadie and McKenzie scored another two.
