After a lively start at both ends Aberdeen took the lead (10). Thistle were by no means out of it but soon found themselves 3-0 down before McCredie hit the bar (34) and Walker was on hand to tuck away the rebound. It was mostly Aberdeen in the second half but they only scored 6 minutes from time.
