The best player afield was Thirds' international No 8 Mason who ran the show as Thirds went 2-up. Walker's header made it 2-1 at half-time. Brown (at outside-right) was clearly unfit and Thistle struggled but Thirds gradually tired. A glorious save denied Walker before an OG from a Brown cross (87) earned them a replay.
