Lots of effort, poor quality. A clever lob by MacKenzie was headed in by Walker (defensive confusion, 5) and the tempo remained high thereafter. Thistle's defence stood firm against the resultant Rangers onslaught and they hit woodwork twice. Wright was crippled on the wing for the second half.
