The Little Report Thirds were easily the better team. Unlike Thistle, they took their chances. Thistle's early pressure faded then Thirds went 2-up (24 and 40), Henderson fumbling on both occasions. MacKenzie scored just before h-t but Thirds scored (59) and were comfortable winners. Thistle dropped 4 places to bottom.
