The Little Report Thistle ran 2nd top Motherwell close and after shooting just wide Sharp gave them the lead approaching half-time but Motherwell equalised with a header soon after h-t, Steadward looking suspect. A penalty (hand ball, 62) proved to be the winner. Thistle piled on the pressure but it ended 2-1. “A grand game” (MT).
