A routine win for Rangers, but they were poor in the first half. They led 1-0 at half-time and scored 2 more before Sharp reduced the lead. Soon it was 4-1 then Glover scored direct from a corner, the Rangers keeper “helping it home” (DR). Thistle had no answer to Rangers' Waddell but they all stuck to the task.
