The Little Report “Thistle fizzed then fizzled” (SP). Sharp gave Thistle the lead (header, 5) but they faded and Falkirk scrambled an equaliser before h-t. Goals by Gourlay (51) and Hammill (header, 59) should have put them in easy street but again they let Falkirk back into it. However, a goal (84) was all they could muster.
