The Little Report McSpadyen was missing but Thistle had the better forward play. Queens were ahead twice (2 and 48) but never convinced as likely winners. Newall (36), Hammill (51) and Sutherland (who was outstanding, 80) earned the win. Queens had good individual players but the poorer teamwork.
