The Little Report Both teams were missing key players due to injury and war work. Thistle, with players out of position and several youngsters, did well but Celtic always had more to offer. Husband's free-kick (6) cancelled out a 1st min goal but Celtic scored 45 and 88 to seal the win. A creditable performance. Good game.
