Thistle put in a lot of effort but 2nd top Hibs were the more skilful team and although Thistle contested things to the end, Hibs always had that bit more to offer. The half-backs were weak and the forwards only threatened occasionally, That said, the scoreline flattered Hibs. It was much closer.
