The Little Report Thirds had no answer to a slick Thistle team with no weaknesses. Gourlay (44, 56 and 70) and 1 at the wrong end (58), Forsyth (12), Newall (43 and 89) and Sharp (85) did the damage. Thirds' 2nd was a brilliant diving header (82). “Thistle had everything” (SP) - for this week, at least.
