A fast, entertaining game with some fine goals. McSpadyen - who was “irresistible” (SP) - scored (15) and although Airdrie found an equaliser (22), Rodger headed in a McSpadyen cross (38). Airdrie levelled via a post (56) before Thistle tied it up with goals from Rodger (64) and Forsyth off the underside of the bar (74).
