The Little Report Thistle had too many youngsters playing and needed an experienced player to balance the forwards. Reverting to the off-side trap was only partially successful. 3 goals without reply (1 pen) suggested a clear cut win but the score was slightly flattering to the home side. Laurie and Collier were best for Thistle.
