Top of the league Rangers won comfortably. Thistle trailed from the 11th minute and 3-0 approaching half-time before Williamson scored with a 20-yard drive. Soon after the interval it was 4-1 and Rangers pressed almost continually, Henderson making some fine saves. Douglas' deflected shot (but credited as an og, 89) made it look better.
