Yet again McSpadyen and McKennan made the difference. Rovers missed several good chances before Wallace scored (header, 20) but it was 1-1 at half-time. Rovers pressure came to nothing and goals by McKennan (a magnificent 35-yard free-kick, 58 mins), Picken and McSpadyen made it 4-1 before Rovers scored - the last three goals coming in the last 5 minutes.
