Thistle fought hard but Falkirk always had that bit more to offer in the middle of the park. They took the lead (6) but McKennan levelled (23) from the spot. Falkirk, too, were awarded a penalty but Johnstone saved it to keep it at 1-1 at half-time. A goal in the second half was enough to win both points. The ball was back-heeled over the scorer's shoulder. Cheeky!
