3rd bottom Hibs started brightly but their forwards lacked punch. McKennan had an excellent game, scored twice before half-time and made it a hat-trick with a penalty in the second half. Thistle dominated the later stages and Wallace made it 4-0. But for some fine goalkeeping it could have been more.
