Kilmarnock had chances but their finishing was weak. In addition, all 3 Thistle goals were well taken but came from blunders. Wallace (5) put Thistle 1-up but Kilmarnock deservedly levelled (65). Watson rounded the keeper for 2-1 then an OG sealed it, a defender attempting to clear. McSpadyen was the best forward on view.
