After a plucky first half, bottom club Rovers were overwhelmed. McKennan opened the scoring (11) then Wallace made it 2 on the half-hour but Rovers pulled one back before half-time. They couldn't cope with McKennan however. He scored again, as did Wallace, then he went on to complete the rout with two more.
