Thistle were a shade lucky to draw a match which St Mirren dominated for long spells. They hit the bar twice and it took brilliant saves by Johnstone to deny their eager forwards. Saints went ahead (60) but a defensive error allowed McSpadyen a chance to cross for Wallace to equalise (65).
