The Little Report Thistle lost their grip on the cup at the 1st attempt, conceding goals 10 and 25 but Thirds were flattered by their lead. McKennan scored (48) and Thistle had a good last half-hour but the Thirds keeper had some fine saves. Too many Thistle players were off form and it was a poor performance.
