A bright start saw Mclean and Pritchard both hit the bar. Celtic turned on the skill and power after that and were too good for Thistle who trailed 3-0 at half-time. Thistle fought on but the forwards wasted some chances although the Celtic keeper saved a certain OG and an effort was cleared off the line.
