Ayr should have been 3-up at half-time but they missed their chances and Jackson again had some tremendous saves. In the second half an Ayr defender ushering the ball out for a goal kick was dispossessed and Torbet scored a tap in (57) then Miller headed in a Ness cross late on for a fortunate win.
