Drab weather, drab match. Thistle made the best of the muddy pitch and were superior by far. Torbet scored following a free-kick (the keeper fumbled his shot, 18) and Ness pounced on a poor clearance (46). When he scored again (60) many of the home fans left to watch Dundee v St Johnstone (later k-o)!
