OH/SP credit John Torbet with Thistle's first (although the SP suggest there was a bit of a scrimmage and it was hard to tell), but GH/SC/JL say it Sandy Hair. We stick with the OH in the meantime, perhaps pending further reports.

Newly promoted Thirds took a 3-1 lead at half-time, Torbet scoring (17) for Thistle to make it 2-1. There was a hat-trick for their centre-forward Wilson. Thistle fought back however. Fraser wasted an easy chance but Ballantyne (50) and Ness (61) made it 3-3 and a draw looked likely but Thirds' Wilson got his 4th (89).
