An exciting game from start to finish. Hair scored to give Thistle the lead against the run of play (20) but Saints deservedly levelled. Grove put Thistle ahead when the keeper was slow in getting down to his shot. Umpteen chances to extend the lead were wasted and Saints scored late on, deservedly on play.
