Gibson was playing for Scotland v England. St Johnstone put up a good show and equalised Hair's header on 20 minutes but it was 2-1 at the break when Hair scored with an overhead kick that left the keeper stranded. His 3rd from the penalty spot won the points to leapfrog Saints in mid-table.
