An excellent game. After Johnstone had hit the post, Dumbarton opened the scoring (26) but goals in rapid succession by Blair, Johnstone and Kinloch put Thistle in control. Dumbarton deservedly scored (50) and it was a close run thing until Blair made sure (89). A flattering scoreline however.
