SC credits a “Bennett” og saying it was “sp says that “AN oblique shot by Bowie was diverted into the net by Stewart” and DR says: “in a goal line scrimmage Stewart inadvertently presented Partick with another”. The “oblique shot//” references convinces on the merits of the OG, and we go with Stewart not Bennett on the 2:1 majority basis.

Harris (N) scored a first-half hat-trick (the 1st two in 10 mins) as Thistle demolished Central League East Fife who were out of their depth. It was 4-0 at half-time thanks to a deflected Bowie shot og. A left foot drive by McMullan made it 5 early in the second half. Thistle eased up after that, the tie well won.
