Thirds belied their lowly position. Play was even until Black kicked a ball going out of play at a corner back into the danger area and a header put Thirds ahead. Bowie set up Henderson to level (48) but a long shot beat the unimpressive Stewart for the winner. Thistle fought on but Whittle's penalty was saved and time ran out. Down to 4th.
