Thistle enjoyed the early pressure but their forwards came in for some rough treatment early on. The only goal came from a penalty in the first half (trip by Durnin). Ferguson was in good form with a trio of fine saves near the end but all in all it was “a featureless game“ (DR) and neither keeper had much to do.
