A weakened Thistle side were swept aside by a rampant yet 2nd bottom Dundee. Bowie scored before half-time to make it 3-1 but Thistle never adapted to the sodden half of the pitch. Defending the dry end after half-time made no difference. But for Ferguson's saves it could have been an even heavier defeat.
