The game was played more like a cup-tie. Leitch, Honeyman, Bowie and Harris (N) shocked 2nd top Rangers and made it 4-0 at h-t. Thistle were pressed and 2 quick goals gave them a jolt but Harris scored his 2nd with the best goal of the game (80). A rare league double over Rangers! Up to 6th.
