A keenly contested match and had Thistle's forwards been more incisive they might have taken both points. Whittle was tried on the right wing as an experiment. Aberdeen's best spell was in the last 10 minutes when shots rained in on Colquhoun but a draw was a fair result. Bulloch was the best man on the park.
