Played in aid of Partick RC schools. The nearest to a first half goal was when Celtic hit the post just on half-time. Branscombe finished off a fine move to give Thistle the lead (47) but Celtic equalised (57) then they took the lead. 2 minutes later a Branscombe shot cannoned off Junior trialist Somerville for 2-2.
