Testimonial for Branscombe. In fine weather a brisk start saw both teams have chances but Thistle soon had the best of things. After Branscombe went close, a fine attacking move involving Hamilton and Branscombe saw Harris score from close in. Only good defending by Rangers (playing several fringe players) kept the score down.
