The September Monday holiday crowd saw Celtic dominate from the 1st minute and take a 3-goal. King fired a penalty wide at 2-0. The second half saw a vast improvement and 2 goals from Stevenson and Gardiner made for an exciting finish but despite lots of Thistle pressure there was no 3rd goal.
