Dunfermline had an outside left called Fred Gibson this season, so we've stuck him in there; a free bet with no harm done. A strong Thistle team started well and knocked the ball about with ease but it was Dunfermline (with a mixture of Seniors and Juniors) who scored first. A lovely pass split the defence and the ball was walked into the net. A 2nd goal was scored before half-time. More determined after half-time, Branscombe scored when the Pars were down to 10 men but it ended 3-1.
