A well-fought match full of good football. After a few close things at either end Steel got the opener but Thirds made it 1-1 at half-time. There was no let up in the pace in the second half. Thistle scored on a counter-attack through Marshall but Thirds equalised soon after with a tap-in after a partial save by Campbell.
