Hamilton gave Thistle the lead after a minute and that's how it stayed until half-time. The “Royals“ scored twice in the second half. The timing and scorer of Thistle's 2nd goal is unknown. New signings Curtis (Benburb) and Coham (Southampton) got their first starts. The home keeper dislocated his shoulder late on.
