A one-sided affair. Airdrie took the lead from a penalty in the early minutes and led 4-1 at half-time. Riddell made it 4-1 and 6-2 but Thistle were out-classed by 4th top Airdrie. Massey (in goal for the 1st time since the Hibs game) had now shipped 13 goals in his last 2 games. “A debacle and no mistake” (DC).
