The home team were by far the better in the first half and it was a surprise that it was still 0-0 at half-time. Robertson cancelled out an early Hamilton goal with a low fast drive and but from then on they were decidedly second best and 3 goals towards the end killed Thistle off. They remained 5th from the bottom.
