2nd bottom Hamilton were poorer up front but their defence was stronger. They took an early lead but Gilchrist equalised. It was 3-1 by half-time however and brilliant play by the Hamilton keeper in the second half ensured it wasn't to be Thistle's day. A hard, punishing match. Down to 4th bottom. McKenzie was sent off for “rushing and butting“.
