It was all Aberdeen for most of the first half. They had a number of chances and corners. Finally Thistle came into it and Barr and Gray went close. The second half saw the teams “plodding industriously for a goal but to no purpose” (GH). A brilliant save by Howden late on saved a point. 10 poor forwards.
