  • Thistle's new faces were Arnott (Linthouse Juniors), Lawrie (Clydebank Juniors) and McGregor (Crieff Morrisonians).
  • Not a dispute as such, but “Gregor” is listed at the SC and GH as Thistle scorer. Use of brackets in GH suggests guest player. JL specifically lists James McGregor signed from Crieff Morrisonians on the day of the match, so that's good enough for us. This would also tie in with the cautious “Gregor” as a top-secret trialist.
