teamline notes
  • Teamlines per GH.
  • OH lists Bill Gray rather than Robert Gray at outside left.
dubious goals panel
  • GH says John Wilkie was both "the aggrieved and the taker" in relation to the last-minute penalty which sounds quite convincing, and the SR credits the same player. We are still holding out for Tom Harvey as per JL/NK/OH/PRG. As ever, we keep an open mind to make a later alteration if a decisive report can be found. Adding further confusion, the MC (2 January 1904) reports: "Kennedy scored from a penalty kick for the Thistle." Groan. Sam Kennedy did take the last penalty for Thistle (which was saved) in a game against Celtic a couple of weeks earlier.
attendance notes
  • 4000 (OH); 4000 (JL)
